9 June 1868 [Meiji 1/Intercalary 4/19]
1868年6月9日，明治元年闰四月十九日
In the morning the master tsuba(鍔) craftsman Terado Ichiro came. I requested him to do metalwork in gold for my small sword and dagger. He brought a sketch for mental work to be done in sliver for my long sword. I also entrusted him with making menuki(目钉) hilt ornaments in the shape of deer and tsuba for both the small and the large swords and to design an ornament of horses and deer for the end of the scabbard(鞘), the kojiri. Several days ago I had also aksed him to make me a tsuba with paulownia(泡桐) flower design.
这里出现了三把刀：small sword, dagger, long sword，都没有用复数。实在不知道small sword和dagger有什么区别，短刀汉译英这两个都有。
现藏于银座的左行秀是白拵形态，没有和刀装一起展出，不知道是没配套的还是藏起来了。长船清光的刀锷周边图案是松树。
然而他俩的名字都没有出现过……所以到底最初是哪里来的啊？
不过花鸟鱼虫之类的翻译真的靠谱吗，我看到有地方把杜鹃译成了夜莺啊喂……会让人怀疑泡桐花指的是桐纹的好吗。
他好喜欢刀的……经常跟人一起看，其中有吉光和贞宗(其他的名字实在不认识OTZ)还写了很多次刀装的样式，但是明治三年初之后就没有了←又是一个虐点啊！！！！！
